Timber Creek Retrievers is located in the Northeast Mississippi town of Pontotoc, between Tupelo and Oxford. We are approximately 15 miles from Tupelo, 85 miles southeast of Memphis, TN, and 180 miles north of Jackson, MS. Timber Creek Retrievers is owned and operated by George and Kristian Henry.
We started training retrievers as a hobby during the mid-90s. We had good luck (and some good dogs). Before long, others were asking us to work with their retrievers and pets. We continued with successful retrieving and obedience work. The retrieving business is still a passion for us. We are not high-volume trainers. Keeping fewer dogs in training allows us to spend more time with your dog and allows us to maximize your results more quickly. Our training program takes about half the time of many others.
We believe in personal service. We love for owners to come by for visits. We'll show you everything from start to finish if you'll let us. You learn more, your dog learns more quickly, and you learn how to handle problems better by participating. Our goal is for you and your dog to leave happy...and not need additional work. You and any questions are certainly always welcome. But, we strive to give you the tools you need to be self-sufficient.
